Jenkinsons Office Interiors were appointed following a tender process to generate an overall solution that focused on the key requirements including aesthetics, functionality, sustainability and overall value for money. Over 700 shared desk bench positions were provided for around 1000 staff using Freeway benching and Clipper task chairs. Over 1000 locker positions were provided giving individual staff members secure storage space, breakout areas created and meeting rooms for 6 people up to 30 people on each floor.
After successfully completing the installation within the programme over 1000 staff now use the building utilising the space. The goals set were achieved and costs reduced.
The challenge was to achieve this in a building that had ‘listed’ status.
