Brio Leisure

Client requested a close collaboration for the total refurbishment of these premises, with new products, colour pallets and new stylistic designs for all areas. We brought together various supply chain partners to ensure this project was a success.

The Council took the strategic decision to undertake a comprehensive refurbishment of the existing Town Hall building after a feasibility study exploring the number of buildings they were currently occupying and by bringing staff from a number of buildings under one roof proved savings could be made and service levels to the public improved. Plus3 architects were engaged to undertake a project to create open plan working floors and a number of collaborative work zones.

Blue Offices

The design of these offices reflect the corporate colours and branding. Four shades of blue and four shades of green were included to create two different appearances to the one office. Walking one way through the office space you will see the four shades of blue. Walking the opposite way you will be introduced to the four shades of green.

The design of the office space and the different identities of the two sides of the space really added to the vibrancy of the site.

Public Area

The public facing area has all of the functional elements for the council to be able to engage with customers with a striking front desk and seating whilst still allowing the space to be incredibly versatile.

Alder Hey

The new ‘Alder Hey in the Park’ is an amazing hospital with a design inspired by children. A dedicated research and innovation facility built next door, created a leading edge centre for children’s healthcare and research in Liverpool.

The new hospital covers over 51,000m² and contains 270 beds with 16 operating theatres.

There is nothing like it anywhere else in Europe.

First Choice Homes

First Choice Homes Oldham (FCHO) is responsible for Oldham council’s social housing stock. In 2011 they identified the need for a three storey purpose built headquarters situated on Union Street to accommodate FCHO’s 450+ employees. The new development wast to form part of Oldham Council’s wider regeneration plan within the area.

The overall interior design of the building was to offer an enhanced customer experience. Jenkinsons were appointed to provide furniture for the new building. Jenkinsons project team(under the guidance of Martin Baker), worked closely with Architects 5 plus and FCHO to provide product suggestions that enhanced and complemented the innovative design of the building.
